Dolna Banya is unique – its location in a basin – surrounded by the Rila National Park and majestic mountains, affords it a temperate climate - beautiful hot summers and brisk cold winters – although neither is extreme – with the lowest temperatures in winter around 0-5 C.  It is also renowned for its healthy clear air because of it altitude and high ionization levels.  It is proud of its reputation for being the home to the most varied flora in Europe as well as its bird life – the Stork being the good luck symbol of the region. Dolna Banya’s main industry is currently agricultural but the impact of Super Borovets and with Bulgaria joining the EU, the infrastructure is being planned to accommodate the European tourist without compromising the beauty and history of the village and its surrounding area.  Only 17km from Borovets – the international ski resort which is central to the Super Borovets project and which by 2014 has ambitions to have some of the finest skiing facilities in the world. 

Kalina village is for those people who wish to be within a short travelling distance to the Ski resort but who also wish to integrate into village life, without comprising the standard of European comfort in their homes.  Only 15 minutes by car to the ski slopes and night life but central for those who wish to have the serenity, natural beauty and clear mountain air which living in this village offers.

 About our Kalina project

Excellent value properties priced at a fantastic 75,000 Euros- Prices include VAT and LAND - a bargain never to be repeated - the benefits of which will only be clear in 2014 when the current law will be repealed.  99% of properties are only currently sold leasehold.
